Our story
Founded to teach the hand.
The College began in 2001 with a small room, a few easels and the belief that drawing can be taught to anyone willing to sit and look.
Since then it has grown into a place that teaches the Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, applied art and sculpture, and, through Midnapore Shilpa Sikshayatan, children from their first drawing onward.
This page is yours to write. Send the College's own account of its founding and it will be set here, in English and in Bengali.
